Add More Account Security Measures

In addition to making sure the mywebhostingaccount.com password and cPanel password are robust, you can add more security to the account with "Two-Factor Authentication" and an account Security Question, managed from the "Security Settings" section.

You can manage security settings in your account on mywebhostingaccount.com by following these steps:

  • Login to your account on mywebhostingaccount.com
  • In the top menu, click "Hello, [Your Name]", then "Security Settings"
  • Here you can manage Two-Factor Authentication, the account Security Question (if you have added a security question, it will require it to be answered when going through the forgot password process), and Single Sign-on (enables direct access to your cPanel from your mywebhostingaccount.com account)

For more info on cPanel and Email security, see the HelpDesk article: Web Hosting: Security (Account, cPanel, Email)
